Spirit Run for Newport Mesa Schools

The Newport Mesa Spirit Run is an event that supports local schools in the Newport Mesa Unified School District. It seeks to:-Promote fitness in children-Offer children in the district a chance to participate for free if they are financially unable to pay-Give schools in the district a chance to benefit from the proceeds of the raceReady, Get Set, Go!There are several races to choose from, like:-Adult 5K-Adult 10K run-Adult 15K (Race in the 5K & the 10K and the times will be combined)-Youth Races: There will be 7 races ranging from 1/4 mile to 1 mile in length for ages 4-12-Youth 5K (Ages 14 and under)-Youth Combo-And more!DetailsThe race takes place on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Fashion Island.
