EASTSIDE COSTA MESA

Artsy and positioned close to Newport Beach, Eastside Costa Mesa is a unique area bursting with life and highly sought after.

Eastside Costa Mesa is nestled just east of the 55 freeway in Costa Mesa.

Take a drive through the straight, grid-like streets in Eastside Costa Mesa and you will see older, small cottages from the 1920s alongside newer Planned Unit Developments and modern “mansions.” Some of the older homes sit on large 10,000+ square foot lots and people often buy them and subdivide the land to build newer homes.

It’s very common to see people walking, biking, and jogging along the streets here. Since Eastside Costa Mesa borders the Back Bay Nature Preserve area of Newport Beach, the outdoor lifestyle is a “California life” staple and high priority for many residents.

Home to the famous Sidecar Donuts and Plums Café, you’ll find that there are a mixture of mainstream shops alongside artsy, independent ones with a high-end quality.

If you are looking for nightlife, the Pierce Street Annex has you covered and the area where Harbor Blvd. and Newport Blvd. intersect is also full of activity with with longtime staples like Goat Hill Tavern.

Of special note: the popular and impressive local schools!  People of all ages, interests and diversified backgrounds are here and find new art venues, dining, and sports outlets as a added bonus. Eastside Costa Mesa has reinvented itself into one of the most popular alternative beach cities to call home.
