Egg Hunt Brings Mesa Verde Community Together

For as large as the Mesa Verde neighborhood of Costa Mesa is, the community truly has a tight-knit appeal. Happenings like the Torelli Realty annual Egg Hunt represent something that families look forward to year after year and it is a tradition that has been passed down through the generations. One of the things to cherish about the annual Egg Hunt is the sense of unity. This year for the first time, our very own, very LOCAL, Starbucks at the corner of Adams and Harbor has generously offered to provide complimentary coffee to help kick start the morning. They will also be contributing a few special eggs to the egg hunt with free drinks that are just for kids plus some raffle baskets with some of Starbucks’ notable goods.  We’re looking forward to having you at our neighborhood party, Starbucks!  And it’s not just Starbucks that will be on tap. We’re thankful to welcome several other key participants. For years the Estancia Cheer Squad has been a huge supporter and presence at the event. The team not only adds pep and spirit, they also help with feeling of the event by offering face painting for all the smiling faces. Bill Thomas, a longtime Costa Mesa resident, will break out his grill and serve up delicious hot dogs and more as a way to help the Estancia Tennis team with their fundraising goals. Local vendor Kona Ice also dishes up cups of shave ice and gives a portion of the proceeds to support Adams Elementary. Yes, Mesa Verde is a wonderful place to be and we’re glad to call it home.
