Costa Mesa Fireworks – Support Local Organizations!
Our Costa Mesa real estate company wishes you and your family a wonderful Independence Day… And part of what makes independence so sweet for Costa Mesa residents is the right to bear safe & sane fireworks! There are only 5 cities in Orange County that permit firework sales. Why do we sell them in Costa Mesa? Because they generate huge revenue for Costa Mesa non-profit organizations. Here’s a list Costa Mesa organizations that are selling fireworks and the locations of their firework stands:Costa Mesa High School Aquatics/Boys & Girls Waterpolo (Thanks to Debbie Grubert-Serrano!) That means you can shop for fireworks until 9pm. This is great because fireworks may be discharged until 10pm on July 4 in Costa Mesa. Also, for the first time sparklers, aka handheld Morning Glories, will be sold (brings back memories of childhood!) The sale of fireworks in the City of Costa Mesa raises about $500,000 annually for Costa Mesa groups. Hopefully that number will be even higher due to the changes made this year.*Remember, be safe, don’t drive drunk, and have a Happy 4th of July!
