California’s Ultimate Beer Fest

 Prepare yourself this weekend because it’s going to be a weekend-long celebration with your favorite crafted brews. Before going around San Francisco, Los Angeles, Pasadena, San Jose, and San Diego, the first stop of The Ultimate Beer Fest is finally arriving this October 19, 2013, Saturday, at the OC Fair and Event Center. Prepare your taste buds because you will be exploring the many different kinds of crafted beer brought about by some the best craft brewers of California. There will be plenty of booths around the area where you can try or purchase the many beers available. And if you’re up for a warm meal for your belly, food trucks/vendors are also available for selling choice meals in the OC.  They will be dividing the event into two sessions and you can come to one or both depending on you choice: Session 1: 12nn to 3pm General AdmissionSession 2: 6pm to 9pm General Admission Admission:General: $50VIP: $75Parking: $7 The Ultimate Beerpong Tournament will take place in OC. Registration is now on going, and seats are only limited to the first 64 participants. All ticket holders will receive a commemorative tasting cup while VIP ticket holders will get a chance to judge the beer competition. The event’s proceeds will benefit a 501c3 non-profit horse rescue operation in Temecula, California, Villa Chardonnay, hence your purchase may be tax deductible. Having been celebrated since 1810, the Oktoberfest has become an important part of the Bavarian culture. After the colloquial name of the fairgrounds, the event was origianlly called “die Wie’n’”. This is a celebration that runs from late September up until the first week of October; and it always estimated that about 6 million people attend the celebration. The weeklong celebration of the original Munich Oktoberfest in Germany has a lot of other countries taking part and modeling after the original event.
