SOUTH COAST METRO

With abundant shopping, dining and entertainment, South Coast Metro is the metropolitan area of Costa Mesa.

South Coast Metro is the northernmost portion of Costa Mesa and is situated just north of the 405 Freeway. The community is a bit newer with most of the homes being built in the 1970s. Many of the homes have more contemporary architecture with vaulted ceilings and more open floor plans. These homes typically have cute yards that allow for the outdoor lifestyle. Some of the homes in this Costa Mesa neighborhood are part of communities that feature private homeowner associations with community pools and spas  for all residents to enjoy.

South Coast Plaza features 250 boutiques, 30 restaurants and 4 performing arts venues. Metro Pointe has a large movie theater and more shops and dining. The South Coast Metro area is also home to the Segerstrom Center for the Arts and considered by many to be the cultural center of Orange County.
