This year's theme is "Swing Back to the 60's," and we're ready to get our groove on! Did you know that each year this exclusive event is the signature fundraiser for Costa Mesa United raising needed funds for our mission of supporting youth sports in Costa Mesa? It is the largest single day fundraiser in Our City. The golf course will be adorned with music, food, and entertainment. One of the holes is called "Midnight at the Oasis," and has a real camel to take photos with! Or the "Magic Carpet Ride" hole featuring a magician to show you a trick or two before you tee off! Would you like to win $25,000, or two new cars? Three holes have prizes at $10,000 or more. You don’t have to be a pro to play. Another Amazing Turn-Out at Torelli Realty's Snow Land 2013 - Torelli Realty is so grateful to have so many guests at our annual Snow Land event at Balearic Park. Together, the community and our Costa Mesa real estate agents made it a day to remember. We were visited by thousands of people who came to partake in everything from frolicking in the snow and decorating Christmas cookies to taking photos with Santa!!! We had many hungry visitors support our community through our fundraising booths, including the Estancia High School Tennis Boosters, the Peaceful Waters-Adventure Maidens, and more. Kona Ice donated proceeds from their shave ice to our local schools, and we were given the gift of music by the TeWinkle Choir led by Tim McFadden. Thanks to all who brought canned food for the SOS booth, and toys for the Costa Mesa Fire Department's OC Toy Collaborative booth.Our Snow Land vendors: We were also lucky to have the Peaceful Waters-Adventure Maidens, formerly known as Indian Maidens, at our event. This is a mother/daughter program focused on promoting friendship and understanding between mother and daughter to last a lifetime. Their slogan is "Friendship Always." Besides raising strong women through fun activities such as this Snow Land event, they are just starting snow camp this winter and are starting outdoor camp in the spring! The Estancia High School Tennis Boosters are always excited to be a part of a Torelli Realty community events. They raised money with their cheese burgers and hot dogs and beverages! When you donate you are helping to provide children with new sports equipment, uniforms, and fulfilling their dreams!Thank you all who participated at our Snow Land event! It was such a great turnout!

Killybrooke Elementary School - These photos (shown below) highlight a few of the wonderful things at Killybrooke School during the month of December. On December 17th and 19th, students in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade performed in a winter music program, featuring vocal and instrumental music. Students were treated to a special visit by Santa Claus on December 18th.
TeWinkle Middle School - TeWinkle Middle School's teachers are working hard to adapt some of their instructional strategies and curriculum to meet the new expectations of STEM by 2014. What is STEM / STEAM? Well, it is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, and STEAM adds an Art component to the focus. STEM generally supports broadening the study of engineering within each of the other subjects, and beginning engineering at younger grades, even elementary school. It also brings STEM education to all students rather than only the gifted programs. In his 2012 Budget, President Obama renamed and broadened the "Mathematics and Science Partnership (MSP)" to award block grants to states for improving teacher education in those subjects.
One of the coolest causes we have right now, Help GreenDog Rescue get a New Truck! Our real estate agent Brandon Lawrence has a passion for real estate and a secondary passion- for animal rescue! Recently the truck that brings all the rescue dogs to and from the adoption events has seen its last mile and they need your help to get a gently used truck or van. Welcome to the Neighborhood - It's a new year and a time to welcome in the new neighbors! We are pleased to announce two new families to the neighborhood! Renee and Jason Welch, and their father Henry are the new residents at 1340 Watson. They are really excited to move into such a great part of Costa Mesa.
