        South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa is stepping up its game with 10 new stores and more on the way. Several national retailers have moved in, improving the stylish Mecca into a plateau of the latest must have designs. The new stores include anything from the mid-priced to the high-end such as luxury outdoor furnishings by Brown Jordan. Design Within Reach, another iconic midcentury furnishing store, has settled in our city’s Plaza as well.SoCo (South Coast Plaza) is a lively indoor marketplace with a keen eye for skilled trade goods and decorative antiques and supplies. DYLN inspired yoga and active wear plans to open here this month, along with Newport Beach-based Famosa Tile and master sommelier Peter Neptune's School of Wine. The latest culinary options include chef Noah Blom's Arc Food and Libations, Shuck Oyster Bar, Surfas Restaurant Supply and Gourmet Food and Cafe, Greenleaf Gourmet Chop Shop and Michelin-starred chef Carlos Salgado's gourmet food truck-turned-restaurant Taco Maria. SoCo is also having upcoming events in April such as: Environment Furniture Earth Day meet and greet from 4 to 7 p.m., Uni Home Store Living wall workshop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and SoCo Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday in the parking lot. The Plaza always keeps us on our feet with fresh new and modernized stores that help improve the lifestyle of the average person.
