Save Balearic Community Center!

One of Costa Mesa’s greatest assets, the Balearic Community Center, is in danger of being closed due to city budget cuts. Balearic Park has provided wonderful programs for the residents of Costa Mesa for over 30 years. Many citizens look back fondly on their experiences at Balearic Park and if it closes our youth will not be able to enjoy the amazing opportunities that the center presents for the community.Today, June 8, 2010, at 4:30pm the City of Costa Mesa is holding a City Council Study Session and the public is invited to give their ideas about how to save Balearic Community Center and raise money for its programs.
