James R. Fisler is Elected First Vice President of Mesa Water’s Board of Directors
*This is the official press release from Mesa Water* COSTA MESA, Calif.; December 21, 2011 – At its December 13, 2011 regular Board meeting, Mesa Consolidated Water District (Mesa Water) named Fred R. Bockmiller, Jr., P.E. as the District’s President for a second consecutive term and James R. Fisler as the District’s First Vice President. “I’m honored to be serving Mesa Water’s customers and employees as President of the Board,” said President Bockmiller. “I take this responsibility seriously and I remain committed to Mesa Water’s goal of perpetually providing a safe and reliable supply of high-quality water to our customers.” A native of the Newport-Mesa area and Costa Mesa resident since 1988, President Bockmiller has many years of experience in the water industry. First elected to the Mesa Water Board of Directors in 1996, he represents Division I consisting of the West Side of Costa Mesa. His prior terms as Board President were in 1999, 2000, 2004, and 2010. First Vice President James R. Fisler was appointed to Mesa Water’s Board of Directors in August 2009 and he was elected in 2010. He is Mesa Water’s Division 2 representative which consists of the Mesa Verde area. In addition, since March 2010, he has served as President of the Mesa Consolidated Water District Improvement Corporation (MCWDIC)—a California non-profit public benefit corporation formed to assist the District in the financing of certain improvements to its water system.
