Incorporating the Top Ten Color Trends for Spring

Are you loving this season's popular hues? Today, we are sharing our ways to incorporating the top ten color trends for spring in your home, and how to work them into your decor long after spring.

Color Trend: Pale Blue

One of Pantone's Color Of The Year for 2017 is Serenity Blue.  This beautiful shade can be used as the main color at a relaxing afternoon soiree.  Buy some sweet macaron treats in a light blue shade, usually Earl Grey flavor, and then use coordinating tea towels and fancy teacups for a Parisian-inspired event.

Color Trend: Bright Coral

Using spring colors doesn't have to be as bold as painting an entire wall or buying an area rug.  Update your decor with just a few accessories in a dramatic bright color to instantly bring life to any piece of furniture or area in your home.  To create a cohesive look, repeat the color hue in a few different stops within the same vignette.

Color Trend: Zesty Yellow

Adding a pop of yellow to your desk or work space is a fun way to liven up the area.  Yellow can help encourage creativity and allow you to think more clearly.

Color Trend: Magenta + Gold

Add color to your desserts with a stylish upgrade of magenta icing and edible gilded gold.  Colorful, edible embellishments are a delicious way to incorporate trending new colors for a party or event.

Color Trend: Blush

Another of Pantone's Color of the Year is Rose Quartz.  This is a great hue to paint onto a vintage piece of furniture to breathe new life into, and really adding a fun pop to your living space.

Color Trend: Shades of Gray

Layering whites with a shade of gray in the bedroom is a great way to maintain a relaxed environment.  A white duvet cover creates a solid backdrop for a textured gray headboard and accent pillows in an array of shades.  A single color palette like this helps to create a calming space to unwind after a long day.

Color Trend: Cobalt

Bring a modern touch to your rustic farm table with cobalt blue place mats or chargers, white plates and black linens.  The contrast between the wood of the table and the saturated, vibrant color is a big trend this spring.

Color Trend: Pops of White

Mixing a variety of different styles and sizes of planters all in one color bring a sense of harmony to your space.  Whitewashed planters displayed on a rustic wood dresser create a warm glow and sense of cohesiveness with a collection of bright green plants.

Color Trend: Buttercup

A soft, light buttercup color is a great choice for a subtle accent wall.  Black frames with white mattes arranged with colorful artwork make a fun, pop-art statement against the buttercup wall.  Another fun addition to this look would be a glossy white shelf with black pillar candles.

Color Trend: Jewel Tones

Chromatic hues with layered textures bring life to a neutral couch.  Pops of color in deep, rich jewel tones work together in this living room by creating a playful space.  Include a textured rug, and add yellow pillows with a red throw.  The addition of a lamp in a saturated hue can really help tie the look together.
