Did You Know about Costa Mesa’s Veterans’ Memorial Project?

Costa Mesa’s Harbor Lawn Memorial Park, which is in Mesa Verde at Harbor & Gisler, has been creating a Veterans’ Memorial.  The project began in 2007 and its mission is to honor American veterans from all branches of the military.  This monument is a way for Costa Mesa to show appreciation for those who have done so much for our country and to protect our freedom and happiness.

The beautiful memorial features two canons, a flagpole, bronze statues, bronze plaques and a brick walkway. Each brick in the walkway can be engraved with a personal message that members of the community are welcome to purchase to show their support.  Costa Mesa has a strong sense of community and history and a project like this really showcases those traits.
