 There are currently 184 homes for sale in Costa Mesa, meaning they are classified as "active" or "backup" in the SoCal Multiple Listing Service. Of these, 114 are standard sales. About 62 homes (roughly 34%) are coined "distressed sales", such as foreclosures and short sales. The average days on the market for the standard sales is currently 71 days. The average days on the market for the "distressed sales" is currently 170 days.
