Costa Mesa – Real Estate Competition Is Slim
It’s officially Spring and that traditionally means that the Costa Mesa real estate market heats up. In 2012, we are experiencing a low amount of inventory. Currently, there are only 128 Costa Mesa homes for sale and classified as “active” in the SoCal Multiple Listing Service. Just because there are less homes for sale doesn’t mean there are less home buyers – in fact with less homes available, home sellers are in a prime position to get noticed by all of the buyers who have been struck with Spring fever!
To give you an idea of the limited “active” inventory, here are some statistics:
Mesa Verde -Only 19 Mesa Verde homes are for sale-Only 5 homes are available in the Mesa Verde State Streets (and one is a condo)-Only 2 homes are available in the Balearic neighborhood-Only 2 homes are available in the Mesa Verde Inner Loop-Only 1 home is for sale in the Mesa Verde Lower Birds-There are 0 homes available in the Mesa Verde Tree Streets Other Costa Mesa Neighborhoods: -There are 0 homes available in the Halecrest/Hall of Fame neighborhood -There are only 3 homes available in the South Coast Metro areas known as the Flower Streets and Mesa Woods -Only 1 home is available in Mesa Del Mar that is not new construction -Only 2 homes are available in College Park -Only 38 Eastside homes are available Imagine how much exposure these home sellers are getting – just by being a viable option for house hunters!
