Costa Mesa’s Newport Beach Film Festival begins rolling this month with the goal of bringing classic and contemporary filmmaking to the United States. They also showcase a wide selection of independent movies and a Family Film Series as well. The event celebrates the creation of innovative and artistic cinematic works along with the opportunity of enrichment of education. The festival also encourages involvement. Submitting the film is as easy as sending in an online entry via Withoutabox.com (WAB), which provides paperless, cost-saving submissions to film festivals around the world. There is an option to send in a digital video file or a traditional hard copy for reviewing and consideration. LOVESICK, starring Matt LeBlanc, Ali Larter, Adam Rodriquez, and Chevy Chase, has been proudly announced as the Opening Night film. The World Premiere of the film will kick off Thursday April 24th, 2014 at 7:30pm at Edwards Big Newport. Closing night will showcase CHEF starring Jon Favreau, John Leguizamo, Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr. This will take place at Via Lido Courtyard.
