Support Costa Mesa’s Early College High School This Saturday

Did you know about the Early College High School (ECHS) in Costa Mesa? It’s been a part of our community since 2006 and gives students a chance to blend high school and college classes in an intense but thorough curriculum. This Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, ECHS is holding a garage sale and the proceeds will go to the ECHS PTSA to help fund programs and scholarships for the school. Since 60% of the student population is considered economically disadvantaged these funds are greatly needed.Come on by and check out the treasures that are up for sale. The students will be present to price items and help customers. Laurel Meyer with ECHS noted that “The sale was a student driven idea and we needed their commitment & help to make it a success… They were also responsible for publicity and helped gather donated items to sell at the sale.”Don’t miss the coffee and donuts that we’re providing as sponsors of the garage sale!
