HOPE FOR HOMEOWNERS!

Just before the Bush Administration left office, this past October they unveiled additional mortgage assistance for homeowners at risk of foreclosure.  The HOPE for Homeowners program will refinance mortgages for borrowers who are having difficulty making their payments, but can afford a new loan insured by HUD's Federal Housing Administration.

There is a program timeline however, so act fast as the program will last from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2011.  The link below has all the information a homeowner needs to know about HUD's HOPE Program,  including fact sheets, frequently asked questions, and official press releases about the program.
