Costa Mesa officials have just started a three month holiday on building-permit fees for residential remodeling. This could save you money! The motive behind this, is to beautify the neighborhood. Also launched is an incentive program that waives fees for "green building" projects like solar panels and skylights. Don't hesitate, this deal won't last long. The remodeling program will run through December 19, 2008, and the green building program will run until the end of June 2009.
