We're All For CERT
Costa Mesa is a community where people look out for the safety and well being of one another. This is part of what makes it such a joy to sell real estate here. Costa Mesa has a group called CERT, which stands for Community Emergency Response Team. Last week members went door to door in many Costa Mesa neighborhoods distributing packets of information about how to prepare for an emergency. Now is as good a time as any to spread the word around Costa Mesa because it is National Preparedness Month. Other local towns like Newport Beach were also out spreading awareness. Newport Beach even held a Disaster Preparedness Expo on September 12.As a real estate agent in Costa Mesa, I know how much homebuyers look to live in a community that offers great resources and opportunities to its members. The CERT program is significant because it seeks to protect townspeople. I find that many Costa Mesa homebuyers are attracted to the active organizations that are available.CERT is a great program and a great way for people to get more involved in keeping Costa Mesa a desirable place to call home.
