Costa Mesa Homes Sold Update for April 2020

What a difference a few weeks can make in the local real estate market, yes, I am writing about the local Costa Mesa market.

These past 2 weeks have brought quite a few changes, but they may not be what you think. Sales are beyond brisk. In fact, year over year, the homes that have been placed into escrow and that have closed escrow are exceeding last year. This is current up to date activity…not sales that were done 60 days ago, and closing, but current activity.

There are only a few homes for sale in each area. The data is listed below :

There are currently 50 homes in escrow of which the greater majority have been placed in escrow within the last 30 days.

With no decrease in pricing the market in Costa Mesa is still strong with a good mix of buyers and sellers still transacting business.  Many sellers are asking for private showings with careful attention to safety and protection practices

Not business as usual but business is happening.
